Using masculine elements to inspire my pattern designs I made the following fabrics. Some depict builders at work and the others show various colour ways for a pattern made out of bicycle gears. These are my first attempts. I like the colours but I feel the repeat could do with some more work. The colours for the bicycle gears proved very difficult to photograph. So I need to look into taking some better close ups and re printing them. Shall add when I've done this!
